Two lost souls?

Just went through my handwritten notes and found something I don’t remember writing. I was surprised to see something like this came out of my mind and I don’t think I did a good job too. But it is different, this piece doesn’t contain any rhyming words or a flow that can be spoken on a beat but I feel it is deep :p

The great sea was roaring, the volcano still snoring. They were great days for people like you but a bit sad ones for people like me.

What’s the difference you ask, I’ll say I don’t know. But I know we don’t look at things the same way.

For instance, look out of the window and tell me what you see?

The stray cat basking in the sun, and the whistle of the leaves you say.

Well all I see is love and pain, more love than pain, but I cannot see the cat. It is just red and blue and maybe some other hues.

No answer required but the question remains…
Are we opposites, complements, or worse, are we exactly same?
